We haven't thrifted enough good stuff this week to post a full Nifty Thrifty today, so we thought we would take this time to highlight some of our eclectic glass and mug collection, all of which we found on the cheap. Even though we're keeping everything in this post, we still have lots of other things for sale in our Etsy shop!

In our years of collecting random stuff we have slowly been acquiring a strange selection of glasses and mugs. These glasses are this week's newest addition to our glass collection. I bought these at Savers the other day for three dollars total.
Oh No! Mayor McCheese! Your tripod is breaking!...
Another recent addition to our collection, I found two sets of these "Uh Huh" Diet Pepsi glasses, and this Mayor McCheese glass from McDonalds at Savers a week or two ago. They may be promotional, but they are pretty fun. The Mayor McCheese glass says "1977 McDonaldland Action Series" on it, and is just hilarious.
As for the "Uh Huh" glasses...

I can't imagine a better phrase to emblazen on the side of every glass in the house. My first experience with these was at my family's farm in New Hampshire, and they remain my favorite cups for just about any occasion. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find them this week, and although it was not the first time I have found these while thrifting, it was the first price I was willing to pay: a set of eight for six dollars... Baby.

These little mugs are very fun and colorful. We got them both very cheap at yard sales.
I bought this quirky set of espresso cups at a yard sale for a total of one dollar.
|These are our Anthropologie mugs. It's one of Julia's all time favorite stores, and I can't help but like their home stuff.|
|These are an older part of our collection, but they were still acquired through thrifty means.|
Pom glasses are now out of production, and thus a finite commodity, but they are also just plain fun. We love to use these for juices, tea, and milk, but be careful putting hot liquids in them because the bottoms are prone to separating from the body.
These are some of our more unique glasses: the jar is from Annandale Atomic Cider (just off the Bard campus, where we went to college), the Sun Brew Tea glass is an old yard sale find, and the crazy Duvel beer glass was complimentary with the purchase of a large bottle of Duvel (which was delicious).
Do you have an eclectic cup collection? We got a glimpse of our friends' collection over at Hands over Feet the other day, and it was très cool.
