Julia and I spent all of yesterday in Brimfield, MA at the largest flea market in the country.
To give you an idea as to how large this event is... we arrived at 9:00am, and we did not stop scouring the area until 5:30pm. Even having spent this much time, we could have easily spent a second day searching for treasures.
Here are some pictures of things that we loved, but were either unable to afford or were too crazy to take home.
I really really really want one of these Eames chairs, but it was just shy of $900.00. So sad.
Here is Julia acting as a scale for these giant glass bulbs; it looks more inappropriate than I expected.
Double sided card catalogue. If we had an apartment large enough for a divider I'd love something like this.
Julia took this crazy picture of mid-century madness. This vendor had more amazing pieces than you can imagine. The picture covers about an eighth of the tent.
This European cafe table is almost what we would consider an ideal table for our tiny kitchen, but it was a bit damaged and probably too expensive.
Kinda had a photo-geek moment when I found this 603mm lense. I don't know what I would do with this, but I want it!
Julia will be posting in a bit with our modest purchases from our epic day of treasure hunting at Brimfield.
